Yehudi Menuhin began performing in front of a great audience when he was 7, after 4 years of violin classes. The greatest compositions of Ludwig van Beethoven were written when he was… totally deaf. A 12-year-old Jacob Barnett, studying at Indiana University has a higher IQ level than Albert Einstein. Daniel Tammet already knows 11 languages and is able to learn a new one within a week.
In ancient Roman religion, a genius was a half-divine mortal being who was caring of a man, an individual thing or a place. The idea of white – good genius corresponds with belief in Guardian Angels in Christianity. Now the word “genius” means a set of unbelievable, superhuman abilities or a person who possesses them.
But before anybody shall think that a genius human being is capable of doing anything, let’s hear a story.

Sir Isaac Newton was once visited by his friend, an atheist. Newton has just finished constructing a complicated model of the Solar System. The friend saw this machine and said very impressed:
-How beautiful it is…
Then he began to crank, which activated the machine and made the “planets” move.
-Who created it? – asked the friend.
-Nobody – answered Newton.
-You probably heard me wrong, I asked who constructed this machine? – repeated the man.
-I’ve already told you: nobody.
Newton’s friend stopped cranking and little nervously stated:
-Listen, Isaac, this beautiful model must have been constructed by somebody. Don’t tell me that nobody has done it, because I won’t believe it.
Newton stopped writing, looked at his friend and said:
-Isn’t that weird? I’m telling you that nobody made this toy and you don’t believe me. But looking at the Solar System – this complicated amazing machine – you dare to say that nobody created it. I won’t believe this.
